Lydia Loveless is an alt-country singer with a kick and some rock ‘n’ roll attitude who just released her third album, Somewhere Else, this past February via Bloodshot Records. Picture a twangier Stevie Nicks with some Petty/Springsteen swagger and you’ve got an idea. Lydia and her band just performed the album’s opening track, “Really Wanna See You,” for a CIMU Session, and the video of that performance makes its premiere in this post. Check it out below.
Lydia will be in Austin for multiple shows at SXSW this year, and after that, she’ll head out on a previously discussed tour with Old 97’s which hits NYC on June 3 at Webster Hall. Tickets for that show are still available.
